Be aware of admiration fee! I had rented car with them already for two times . And the experience was amazing. So easy going and the cars are reliable. But be aware that of you don't pay for road fees or parking you may have administration fee . So for that avoid not paying the fees! If the administration fee would be reduced a bit, that will be amazing! I also liked employees they were very friendly! Person at the reception was friendly and she helped us much and gave information about car and traveling in Iceland. They have camper and normal cars. My favorite was Renault Kangoo camper. And there was a guy called Carlos he was in charge of cleaning but he was very helpful he even shared his wifi with us and he was so kind first time I rented form there , and also they have returning code in their system that you don't need to feel the information again. There are two lovely dogs,so cute ! They'll come by to welcome I 🙂 And also there is free coffee and wafer ( that I like them a lot 🙈). Recommend. Good experience overall.

Very fair pricing. Honest, helpful and reliable. Older cars but they are in good operating condition. They did not use an overwhelming fragrance to try and cover up smells. It was kind of hard to locate the lot when using google maps for walking. Ask for directions from the company to avoid dragging your suitcase on a busy street with no sidewalk.

Wow! I cant recommend Auro highly enough! We got stuck on Iceland for 24hrs due to a cancelled flight and didn't have a car reservation. The airport rental places were charging $400+ and Auro was a third of the price. They even dropped the car off for us at the airport! So friendly and prompt messaging via WhatsApp! THANK YOU SO MUCH! So saved our trip! ☺️

I rented the Renault Kangoo Maxi for 6 days and it was the most affordable camper van I was able to find for my solo trip to Iceland. It included everything I needed for a successful trip and the built in back heater worked so well I was never cold at night. When I first got my rental the 12v port up front would not work to charge my phone and they fixed it for me immediately so that I would always be able to charge my devices while driving. I really appreciated getting a reliable car as well as being able to trust who I was renting from as a solo traveler. Would recommend and rent from again if I return to Iceland.

J'ai loué un van aménagé chez Auro Ice Car Rental pour 3 personnes pour 2 semaines en août 2026 et tout s'est très bien passé. Leur site internet n'a certes pas beaucoup de description sur les véhicules, mais ils ont été très réactifs par mail à mes questions et notamment sur les 2 véhicules qui m'intéressaient pour faire mon choix au mieux. J'ai même été surprise par tous les équipements fournis au moment de récupérer le van (couettes, oreillers, draps, chaises de camping, nécessaire de cuisine, produit vaisselle, éponge...) et inclus dans le prix. Autonomie en électricité bien pratique. La récupération du van s'est faite sans contact à l'aéroport avec bonne communication via WhatsApp. De même pour la restitution à l'aéroport. Pas de file d'attente. Un voyage sans stress ! Je recommande👌💯

While passengers from our flight were waiting in that chaos inside the airport, we were already driving towards Pallet (our favorite coffee spot).

We researched a lot and this is the cheapest car rental place we could find. We were very pleased with the Dacia Duster we got. We drove the entire Ring Road in late May. Approximately 2300 km in total. Got the full insurance, but never had any issues with our car. We picked it up easily after working hours and just left the key when it was time to return it. Before renting, we asked for details on what is covered by the insurance via email and got rapid emails back. Great choice.

Máme zkušenost z roku 2025 a 2026. V 2025 super- modrý Nissan, sice už měl hodně najezděno, ale vše v pořádku. Měli jsme i problém s pneumatikou, nakonec domluvena výměna auta, protože to nebyla naše vina. Místo toho Tuscon, o hodně novější, pěkné. V 2026 jsme si půjčili červenou Suzuki, protože jsme neplánovali nic dalekého. Opravdu strašný. Nefungoval tempomat, urvané dveře spolujezdce, takže vám dovnitř extrémně hučí vítr, protože na Islandu bylo 3 denní větrnné peklo. Bojíte se, že vám dovnitř naprší nebo prostě dveře ulítnou..Auto mělo najeto snad 190 000 km. Pardon, hoďte ho ze skály...Tentokrát čas na výměnu za normální auto fakt nebyl... Jinak komunikace vždy perfektní, ceny dobré. Vyzvednutí a odevzdání auta na letišti. Ale ta druhá zkušenost nás zamrzela...

I rented a Kia xCeed from Auro Ice in August 2026. I was a bit skeptical at the price as it was $700 for 9 days, but I was glad I went with them. They are very reasonably priced and very responsive to email. The contactless pickup does mean you need to walk about 10 min from the airport, but it beats waiting in the 30+ people lines for the rental car counters. The car did show it's age a bit, it had a cracked mirror and 140km on the odometer, but the bluetooth audio worked and we didn't have any breakdowns. For the price I paid and their customer service I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them.

The Auro ICE affiliate program is a straightforward way to earn commission by referring car rental customers to our service. You promote our vehicles through your unique referral link, and we pay you commission on every completed rental that comes from your referrals.

When someone clicks your unique referral link (auroicecarrental.com/?ref=YOURCODE),
a 30-day tracking cookie is stored. If they book within those 30 days, the booking is
attributed to your account. We track all clicks, bookings, and conversions automatically.

We work with travel bloggers, social media influencers, tourism agencies, hotels,
tour operators, and anyone who has an audience interested in visiting Iceland.
After applying, our team reviews your platform/audience to ensure good fit.

Commission rates range from 5-15% depending on partner type:
- Content Creators: 5% commission
- Tourism Agencies: 10% commission
- Hotels & Large Partners: 10-15% (negotiable)

We process payments monthly. By the 5th of each month, you receive a detailed Excel report with all your commissions. You issue an invoice, and we pay within 30 days via bank transfer. Minimum payout is €50.

Commission is calculated on the vehicle rental price only. This excludes insurance,
extras, delivery fees, and other add-ons. Commission applies only to completed rentals- cancelled or no-show bookings are not eligible.

Yes! We provide you with a custom discount code (typically 5-10% off). Your audience
gets a discount, but your commission is always calculated on the original price.
This means everyone benefits - your followers save money, and you still earn full commission.

Currently, we provide detailed monthly Excel reports with complete breakdown of all clicks, bookings, and commissions. While we don't have an automated dashboard yet, our reports give you full transparency on your performance. We're considering adding a partner dashboard in the future based on demand.

You have direct email contact with our partnership team (partners@auroicecarrental.com) and dedicated WhatsApp support. We respond within 24 hours and help resolve any tracking or payment questions quickly.

You may not bid on "Auro ICE Car Rental" or exact brand-name keywords in Google Ads or other paid search platforms. However, you're free to use general Iceland car rental terms and geo-targeted campaigns. Please disclose in your campaigns that you earn commission on referrals.

Most applications are reviewed within 2-3 business days. If approved, we send you
everything needed to start promoting (unique link, discount code, guidelines) within
24 hours. You can start earning immediately after setup.

Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

AFFILIATE AGREEMENT WITH AURO ICE CAR RENTAL

By applying to become an affiliate partner of Auro ICE Car Rental, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

I. NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT

Auro ICE Car Rental ehf. ("the Company") provides car rental services in Iceland and operates an online booking platform via www.auroicecarrental.com. The Company wishes to partner with qualified affiliates ("Affiliate Partners") who will promote, market, and recommend the Company's services to their audience.

By accepting this Agreement, the Affiliate Partner agrees to promote the Company's services using the provided referral link and materials. The Company will provide tracking capabilities, process all bookings, and handle all customer service matters.

This Agreement is non-exclusive. Both parties acknowledge that the Affiliate Partner may promote other car rental services, and the Company may work with other affiliates.

The Company reserves the right to deactivate affiliate links that generate no bookings or conversions for twelve (12) consecutive months. This helps us manage program resources effectively.

II. COMMISSION STRUCTURE AND PAYMENT

The Company agrees to pay the Affiliate Partner commission on completed car rentals referred through the Affiliate Partner's unique tracking link:

Commission Rates:
- Content Creators & Bloggers: 5% of vehicle price
- Tourism Agencies: 10% of vehicle price
- Hotels & Strategic Partners: 10-15% of vehicle price (negotiable)

Commission Calculation:
Commission is calculated on the vehicle rental price only. It excludes:
- Insurance packages (CDW, SCDW, PAI, etc.)
- Extra equipment (GPS, child seats, WiFi, etc.)
- Delivery/collection fees
- Airport surcharges
- Any other separately itemized charges

Commission is paid only on completed rentals. The following are NOT eligible:
- Cancelled bookings
- No-show reservations
- Unpaid rentals
- Bookings modified to zero value

Payment Process:
1. By the 5th of each month, Company sends Affiliate Partner detailed commission report
2. Affiliate Partner issues invoice for "Marketing & Customer Acquisition Services"
3. Company processes payment within 30 days via bank transfer
4. Minimum payout threshold: €50 EUR (amounts below carry forward to next month)

The Affiliate Partner must provide:
- Legal company/personal name
- Tax identification number (if applicable)
- Bank account details (IBAN/SWIFT)
- Billing address
- Valid email contact

III. TRACKING AND ATTRIBUTION

Cookie Period:
The Company uses a 30-day cookie tracking period. When a visitor clicks the Affiliate Partner's referral link, a cookie is stored for 30 days. Any booking completed within this period is attributed to the Affiliate Partner.

Attribution Model:
First-click attribution applies. The first affiliate link clicked receives credit for the booking, even if the customer later visits through other channels.

Referral Link Format:
Each Affiliate Partner receives a unique tracking code:
https://www.auroicecarrental.com/?ref=[PARTNER_CODE]

This link must be used in all promotional activities. Bookings not made through
this link cannot be attributed to the Affiliate Partner.

Tracking Reports:
Company provides monthly Excel reports by the 5th of each month containing:
- All clicks on affiliate link
- All attributed bookings with booking ID, date, customer name (optional), amount
- Commission earned per booking
- Total commission for the period

IV. AFFILIATE PARTNER OBLIGATIONS

Marketing Standards:
The Affiliate Partner agrees to:
- Promote the Company's services accurately and professionally
- Not make false or misleading claims about vehicles, pricing, or services
- Disclose to their audience that they earn commission on referrals (transparency required)
- Comply with all applicable advertising and data protection laws

Prohibited Activities:
The Affiliate Partner may NOT:
- Purchase or bid on "Auro ICE Car Rental" or exact brand keywords in Google Ads,
Bing Ads, or other paid search platforms
- Use the Company's brand name in domain names or social media handles that could cause confusion
- Generate fraudulent clicks or bookings
- Use spam, unsolicited email, or unethical marketing tactics
- Imply official partnership or endorsement beyond the scope of this Agreement
- Create fake reviews or testimonials

If the Affiliate Partner violates these prohibitions, the Company may terminate
the Agreement immediately and withhold any unpaid commissions.

Brand Usage:
The Affiliate Partner receives a limited license to use the Company's name, logo,
and promotional materials solely for the purpose of promoting car rental services
per this Agreement. All intellectual property rights remain with the Company.

The Affiliate Partner must:
- Use only official logos and materials provided by the Company
- Not alter or modify Company logos or branding
- Remove all Company branding immediately upon termination of Agreement

V. DISCOUNT CODES

The Company may provide the Affiliate Partner with custom discount codes for their
audience (typically 5-15% off rental price).

Important Terms:
- Discount codes are for the Affiliate Partner's audience only - not for personal use
- Commission is always calculated on original price BEFORE discount
- Discount codes may not be combined with other promotional offers
- Company reserves right to modify or deactivate discount codes with 7 days notice
- Affiliate Partner must not publicly share discount codes on coupon/deal websites
without prior approval

VI. TERM AND TERMINATION

Effective Date:
This Agreement becomes effective when the Affiliate Partner is approved and receives their unique referral link.

Duration:
This Agreement continues until terminated by either party.

Termination Rights:
- Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice
- Company may terminate immediately if Affiliate Partner breaches terms
- Affiliate Partner may terminate immediately at any time

Effect of Termination:
Upon termination:
- Affiliate Partner must stop using Company branding and referral links
- Company will pay commission on all completed bookings attributed before termination date
- Tracking cookies set before termination remain valid for their 30-day period
- Affiliate Partner must return or destroy all confidential Company materials

VII. LIABILITY AND WARRANTIES

No Guarantees:
The Company makes no guarantees about:
- Amount of traffic or bookings Affiliate Partner will generate
- Commission amounts or earnings potential
- Availability of specific vehicles or pricing

Limitation of Liability:
Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from this Agreement. Total liability is limited to commissions earned in the preceding 12 months.

Independent Contractor:
The Affiliate Partner is an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or representative of the Company. Affiliate Partner is responsible for their own taxes and has no authority to bind the Company to any agreement.

VIII. CONFIDENTIALITY

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during
the partnership, including:
- Commission rates and payment terms
- Customer information (names, emails, booking details)
- Proprietary marketing materials or strategies
- Financial data

This obligation continues for 2 years after Agreement termination.

IX. MODIFICATIONS

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued participation in the program after notice period constitutes acceptance of new terms.

Notification of changes will be sent to Affiliate Partner's registered email address.

X. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Governing Law:
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Iceland.

Entire Agreement:
This document constitutes the entire agreement between parties and supersedes all prior communications.

Severability:
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No Assignment:
Neither party may assign this Agreement without written consent of the other party.
